Cary Varsity looks to keep pace in Tri-8

Cary -Post-season talk is in the air around the Cary High baseball diamond.
With two weeks left in the season, Cary has home game in the last 4 out of 5 contest they encounter. Several against teams that are above them in the conference standings.
Following a big win at Middle Creek on Tuesday night, Cary looks to keep momentum going at home as they face the Falcons from Green Hope High School Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
CHS's remaining contests are Monday 5/4 vs. Apex and Tuesday 5/5 @ Apex, then close out the season against Panther Creek (5/7) and Fuquay-Varina (5/11) in front of their own crowd.
Two big wins against Apex would put the Imps in the 5th and final play-off spot for the Tri-8 conference but if they run the season schedule out with victories, a higher seed is possible.
